On Wednesday (4.01,) a man was arrested after allegedly entering rapper Nicki Minaj‘s property in Calabasas, Los Angeles, and refusing to leave.
In a statement to TMZ, law enforcement sources said that deputies had received a call about a trespassing suspect at the superstar rapper’s home, where security cameras reportedly captured the suspect roaming around the backyard.
Identified as a white male with a large red beard and long hair, wearing a grey tracksuit, security personnel detained the man until the police arrived.
Identified as 36-year-old Leland Adams, the intruder did not respond to warnings from the property’s security team, said Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department to local TV news station NBC4 Los Angeles. Law enforcement stated that this is not the first time Adams has been arrested in the Calabasas area.
The trespassing incident took place at the same Hidden Hills, Calabasas home that Minaj recently risked losing in a $500,000 judgment awarded to Thomas Weidenmuller, a bodyguard whom her husband, Kenneth Petty, was accused of attacking. The judge had the option of forcing the sale of the mansion to settle the debt, but Minaj paid up before that happened.
