Notwithstanding a definite release date, Nicki Minaj told fans to anticipate a forthcoming full length and tour.
Taking to social media, the superstar rapper/writer addressed fan questions, at which time she confirmed that a new trek will be launched alongside the “next official album”. And in a follow-up post, she added “Well let me clarify… you’ll be notified of a tour in 2025. With the album. Not that the tour will start in 2025.”
Minaj’s latest online information comes less than a month prior to her dropping the final deluxe version of her 2023 Pink Friday 2 The Hiatus which is slated for release on December 13, just over a year since the original album.
In a four-star review of Pink Friday 2, Britain’s NME wrote “‘Thirteen years after Pink Friday, Nicki Minaj hasn’t lost her ability to catch us by surprise.”
In October, following the end of the second American leg of her critically acclaimed Pink Friday 2 world tour (which took place in New York’s UBS Arena,) a tweet from the popular Nicki Minaj fan page NM Caviar stated that the rapper had “announced” she was going on a hiatus. However, the songstress denied all rumors suggesting she’ll be taking a break any time soon, saying that she “ain’t going no-mthfkn’-where”.
