Included in KATSEYE‘s wild new music video for ‘Animal,’ Demi Moore makes a cameo.
Co-written by Ed Sheeran, the K-pop-inspired girl group dropped their highly anticipated new single, supported by a video featuring the Oscar winning actress.
Loaded with slick vocals and glossy production from hitmakers Omer Fedi and Blake Slatkin, ‘Animal’ pushes KATSEYE further into their bold, high-concept world, demonstrating the contrast between the polished personas people present publicly and the uninhibited energy that comes out when no one’s watching.
The video features the group members in surveillance rooms, mirrored identities and shifting characters. Moving between masculine and feminine archetypes, the members blur the line between performer and observer as choreography, styling and surreal visuals ramp up the tension.
The ‘Animal’ video made its broadcast debut across MTV Live, MTVU and on Paramount Times Square billboards.
The single preempts WILD, KATSEYE’s third EP that follows their 2025 EP Beautiful Chaos, that debuted into Billboard 200’s top five and delivered the global smash ‘Gnarly.’
In addition to the music space, on August 12 KATSEYE will to the big screen with WILD HEARTS, a limited cinema event, giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at the group’s journey to now.
The movie mixes unreleased clips, EYEKONS fan videos and straight-to-camera moments from the members. It focuses on the group’s climb from Dream Academy pressure to viral success, showing the wins, setbacks and turning points that shaped their breakout.
The film comes from the team behind Netflix’s POP STAR ACADEMY, produced by Interscope Films and Boardwalk Pictures with HYBE X GEFFEN, and directed by Nadia Hallgren.
