On Sunday (9.17,) George Michael: Portrait of an Artist, the definitive George Michael documentary film will airing on England’s Channel 4 .
Featuring 40+ unscripted interviews from the people who knew and loved the superstar singer/songwriter the best – including Stevie Wonder, Stephen Fry, Piers Morgan, Sananda Maitreya (fkaTerrence Trent-D’Arby) and Richard Madeley – the documentary will reveal, intimate, never-before-told details of the music legend’s life; his passions, battling with his demons, extraordinary generosity and compassion.
In addition to his professional career, the forthcoming film explores never-before-heard intimate and private details of George’s relationships, his first love Anselmo Feleppa, and Kenny Goss, his long term partner, who talks about their 12 year relationship.
Touted as the most intimate, open and honest film about George Michael, the piece promises to be touching and thought-provoking, looking at the life of one of the world’s greatest singer, songwriter and record producers, who touched the lives of millions throughout the world.
