Following their ‘Rubber Band Man’ alliance with Hozier, Mumford & Sons are interested in future collaborations with Stevie Nicks, Adele and Paul McCartney.
During a recent Radio X interview on The Chris Moyles Show, Mumford & Sons frontman Marcus Mumford said
Toby Tarrant: “Have you got a sort of – because Hozier’s obviously on this new track – have you got a sort of bucket list? Have you got, like, a dartboard of people that you want to work with?”
Marcus Mumford: “We’ve made our way through them.”
Toby Tarrant: “Yeah, you’ve done well.”
Marcus Mumford: “We’re pretty deep at this point. I really love Stevie Nicks. I’d love to sing with Stevie Nicks one day. I really love Adele. She doesn’t do much collaborating, but we’ve known her for a very long time, and I love her to bits. Yeah, but we’re pretty deep at this point.”
Toby Tarrant: “Great.”
Marcus Mumford: “We’ve never done [Paul] McCartney.”
Toby Tarrant: “I mean, that’s not a bad one, is it? He’s done Kanye and Rihanna. Surely, Mumford & Sons are next!”
