During the OUTLOUD Music Festival at the 2024 WeHo Pride on Sunday (6.02,) Kylie Minogue debuted her new song with Orville Peck.
Now 56-years old, the Australian pop star and the 36-year-old American country musician wowed fans with their performance of the disco-tinged ‘Midnight Ride’ track as some “bangers” as Diplo DJ’d onstage at the LGBTQ+ concert in West Hollywood.
The live collaborative debut comes after it was confirmed that Minogue is working again with ‘Padam Padam’ producer Lostboy. After winning a Grammy for his production of the 2023 club banger, the pair have been working on new material together.
Born Peter Rycroft, Lostboy was quoted as saying: “Padam was its own thing, it’s lived its own life” “The new stuff is so fun as well in its own way. I don’t know when it will be out.” His teaser followed Joel Corry’s reveal that he too was working in the studio with Kylie on some “bangers” that will be released in time for the summer, stating “I’ve just been in the studio with Kylie recently in LA – the Queen. I’ve got some bangers on the way. They say that I defrost for summer and the freezer has opened!”
