Dedicating his new song “Mami Chula” to “las morritas,” on Thursday night (6.13,), Mexican singer Chino Pacas dropped the single featured on his forthcoming debut LP.
In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Pacas said “The song is like a corrido with reggaeton. We combined the genres.” “In the first verse, ‘I know you’re dying to talk to me and even if you want to convince yourself that you’re not” is an example of what commonly happens in young relationships.”
Sharing a video of him listening to the song while smoking a blunt, earlier this week the Hispanic musician got fans excited for the single on X. Referring to his collaboration with Calle 24 and Fuerza Régida, Chino said in a separate video. “From the creators of ‘Que Onda’ comes ‘Mami Chula.'” “For all those that are waiting for the album, I’m dropping this little song for y’all.”
‘Mami Chula’ follows the April release of his “Tunechi” title with Gabito Ballesteros, and Pacas was also the only Mexican music act to perform at Rolling Loud California at the same time this year. Chino will also be featured on Peso Pluma’s upcoming album Éxodo on “Mami,” and (he) shared a photo with Peso, writing “It’s coming.”
