Memorial Day Music Events Are Back, Baby!

After spending last year’s Memorial Day Weekend alone and wondering when the pandemic would ever end, music festivals and live events are slowly but surely resurfacing as the dawn of a new day.

Though we’ll have to wait a bit little longer for massive crowds to return to the likes of the Polo Fields for Coachella or in the desert for EDC Las Vegas, this weekend is proof positive that festival season has returned, despite a slightly different look due to COVID-related rules.

During the epidemic, musicians and event companies took advantage of the Internet by offering livestreams for everything from bare-bones solo acts to full festivals with sophisticated production. Reaching many more people than ever, the success of live streaming appears to be a technology that will continue to thrive and improve even after the event business thoroughly returns to normalcy.
