Citing difficulties involved with balancing work and family life in the wake of welcoming a new baby, Meghan Trainor has decided to cancel her forthcoming Get In Girl tour.
Taking to her Instagram account, the superstar singer/songwriter addressed the cancellation, apologizing to fans who were looking forward to the shows:
“After a lot of reflection and some really tough conversations, I’ve made the difficult decision to cancel The Get In Girl Tour.” “Balancing the release of a new album, preparing for a nationwide tour, and welcoming our new baby girl to our growing family of five has just been more than I can take on right now, and I need to be home and present for each and all of them at this time.”
While she understands that her followers may be disappointed, the 32-year old mother of three said “This is the right decision for my family and me right now.”
It was in November of 2025 that Trainor first announced the Get In Girl tour that was scheduled to launch in Michigan on June 12 with subsequent shows in New York City, San Francisco and Los Angeles, for which ticket sales had thus far been slow.
In January of this year, Trainor welcomed her third child with her husband, Daryl Sabara, via surrogate, and sharing news of their growing family via social media, the Massachusetts-born musician penned “We are over the moon in love with this precious girl,” she wrote. “Riley and Barry have been so excited, they even got to choose her middle name. We are going to enjoy our family time now.”
