Megan Thee Stallion’s Paris Olympics TV Ad: Look + Listen

In NBC’s new advertisement for the 2024 Paris Games, Megan Thee Stallion provides the Olympics’ equestrian event with “Hot Girl Style” spin.

Unlike the standard old dressage competition, the superstar rapper pitches an event featuring a “winged, fire-breathing, talking horse” at the 2024 Olympics, or what Megan calls “Thee Paris Olympics”

The just released advert features Megan Thee Stallion at the Palace of Versailles (where the Olympics’ equestrian events will be held,) along with an updated version of the Olympic anthem “Bugler’s Dream” produced and Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason, Jr.

Not the first musician recruited by NBC to promote next summer’s Paris Games, the rapper (born Megan Jovon Ruth Pete) follows Dolly Parton, who previewed her rendition of Queen’s “We Are The Champions/We Will Rock You” in July. Contrary to rumors, however, Daft Punk, will not be reuniting for the historic sporting event.

In a statement about Megan’s involvement with the Paris Olympics, Jenny Storms, NBC Universal’s CMO of Sports and Entertainment, said:

“As America gathers together today on Thanksgiving, we wanted to surprise the nation with an Olympic moment as big as the holiday, and what better way to do that than with ‘Thee Olympics’, featuring Megan Thee Stallion and dressage horses at Versailles.” “As we approach the new year, even more surprises are in store as we continue to bring to life the biggest media event of 2024 — the Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games.”
