Prior to “Ungrateful” Meg released clips for “Plan B” and “Sweetest Pie,” (featuring Dua Lipa) Meg from her August-releasd Traumazine LP, her second proper studio effort following her Good News (2020.)
After releasing Traumazine, Megan escalated her complicated and bitter legal battle with her record record, 1501 Certified Entertainment, claiming the album fulfilled her obligations to the label. Requesting a Texas court step in to over her “tortured” relationship with 1501, she also asked for at minimum $1 million in damages after initially seeking only non-monetary relief.
