In her new video for “Plan B,” released today (6.02,) Megan Thee Stallion talks about her ex and the serious issues, rapping “Still can’t believe I used to fuck with ya/Poppin Plan Bs ’cause I ain’t planned to be stuck with ya.” “Damn, I see you still kick it with them opp bitches/I’m the only reason that your goofy ass got bitches.”
During the first half of the Casey Cadwallader and John Miserendino-directed video, Megan wears an all-black Mugler outfit and toward the end, the musician sings from a pool of black liquid completely in the nude.
“Fuck you, still can’t believe I used to trust you (used to trust you)/The only accolade you ever made is that I fucked you,” she raps while holding her breast and wearing her crown she states, “If you was wonderin’, yeah, boy, I’m still that bitch.”
With samples from Jodeci’s “Freek’n You” remix with Wu-Tang Clan, Thee Stallion teased the song during her Coachella Stage performance in April, stating “This song is very motherfucking personal to me, and it’s to whom the fuck it may concern.” And a week before the Coachella set, she tweeted, “I got this song that I recorded and every time I play it for a woman they start jumping and clapping. I think I wanna perform it at Coachella for the first time before I actually drop it.”
“Plan B” is Megan’s first song since dropping “Sweetest Pie” with Dua Lipa which followed “Flamin’ Hot” and “Lick” with Shenseea earlier this year.
