During a recent interview on Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy podcast, country music singer Megan Moroney revealed that she ‘hooked up’ with Morgan Wallen.
Sharing her intimate secret, the up-and-coming country music star who recently released her second LP, Am I Okay?, confirmed reports that she used to date the superstar singer/songwriter.
When Cooper asked “Did you date Morgan Wallen?,” the chanteuse replied “Never exclusively.” “It was never a relationship.”
Admitting that the couple met in 2020, prior to Morgan’s record-breaking Dangerous full length was released, and while she was still at university, Moroney added “We have been friends for a long time; we were not just friends, and now we are friends.”
Drawing the line when revealing if her song ‘Tennessee Orange’ is about Wallen, who hails from that stated, Megan simple said “I will not say who my songs are about eve.”.
Subsequently cementing himself as one of the world’s biggest artists, Wallen’s 2023 hit ‘Last Night’ went #1, and earlier this year, Morgan collaborated on Post Malone’s ‘I Had Some Help,’ which has, thus far, become the longest-running #1 Billboard 100 song of 2024.
