On Monday (1.12,) Mary J. Blige confirmed her first-ever residency.
Titled Mary J. Blige: My Life, My Story The Las Vegas Residency, the queen of R&B will perform a series of concerts at the Dolby Live at Park MGM, starting on May 1, 2026.
With 10 initial shows scheduled to run through July, the superstar singer/songwriter took to social media with:
“I’ve been so excited to announce this Vegas residency.” “Creating a show like this has been something I’ve always wanted to do. It’s a chance to get my fans together from all over – different cities, states, and countries – to experience something together.” “My Life, My Story will be just that – with some surprises for my fans that have been there through it all. See you in May!”
During her recent appearance on the Today show, the 55-year-old songstress mentioned that her Nevada shows may include some unreleased tracks, adding:
“It’s going to be done more theatrically.” “It’s still going to have the music, it’s still going to be fun – but it’s a story, so there’s going to be actors and actresses. So, the music tells the story. I have so many songs that I haven’t performed yet for my fans… The actors are going to narrate the music, but you’re still going to have a good time.”
Having embarked on her For My Fans Tour in 2025, Mary dropped Gratitude, her fifteenth studio full length in November of 2024.
The official ticket sales for Mary J. Blige: My Life, My Story The Las Vegas Residency will begin on January 16.
