Several weeks after they were spotted holding hands in May during screening of The Devil Wears Prada 2 in Los Angeles, Mariah Carey and Anderson .Paak were recently seen enjoying a night out at celeb hotspot Nobu in Malibu, California.
It was in December of 2024 when the couple first sparked dating rumors while in Aspen, Colorado, holding hands on several occasions throughout the holiday season. And, it was during Keke Palmer’s podcast, Baby, This is Keke Palmer, in September of 2025 that Carey said she and .Paak first met while working on her album Here For It All.
When questioned about their dating, the superstar songstress teased that there’s “maybe a little love” between her and .Paak, adding “.Paak is just part of the hand-holding club.”
Stating they’re just close friends and that he’s far too busy to commit to a relationship, .Paak has since dismissed the rumors, though he filed for divorce from his former wife, Jae Lin Chang, in January 2024 after 14 years together.
Mariah Carey was last romantically linked to choreographer Bryan Tanaka, whom she dated on-and-off from 2016 until the end of 2023.
