Man Pleads Guilty To Stealing Beyoncé Music

After stealing unreleased Beyoncé music and set lists from her choreographer’s car during last summer, a man has pleaded guilty to all charges.

It was in July of 2025 that officials from the Atlanta Police Department (APD) reported two suitcases belonging to Christopher Grant and backup dancer Diandre Blue (containing two laptops and hard drives of unreleased music, watermarked music, footage plans, and draft set lists) had been stolen from a rented Jeep Wagoneer parked at Krog Street Market in Atlanta, Georgia.

After being arrested in August and charged with criminal trespass and entering a vehicle with intent to commit theft, on Tuesday (5.12) Kelvin Evans pleaded guilty in court.

According to ABC News, the defendant was sentenced to five years, with two years to be served in custody and the remaining time on probation.

As part of a plea deal, a second charge was merged into the first count, and the judge also ordered Evans to avoid the area where the robbery occurred, to “have no contact with the victim, and commit no further violations of the law”.

Representatives for Grant, Blue, and Beyoncé have yet to comment on the case.
