In a photo carousel posted to Instagram on Tuesday (8.21,) Madonna shared photos from the August 16, 68th birthday celebration in Corfu, Greece.
Surrounded by her kids (Lourdes, 29, Rocco, 26, Mercy, 20, and 13-year-old twins Stella and Estere,) her 30-year-old footballer, boyfriend of two years Akeem Morris, and a host of friends, the superstar singer/songwriter penned “It’s My Birthday! Eat, Pray, Love, Drink, Dance, Break plates, Feed Cats! Thank you G*D!”
Following the al fresco dinner at the Atzardo taverna in Kouramades, a small village on the Greek island, came musical performances, plate-smashing, and a heart-shaped cake decorated with the evil eye.
According to W Magazine, the celebratory evening ended with the group dancing to music by Terraròss, an Italian folk band that’s performed at Madonna’s private birthdays in the past.
Announced as the leading nominee for the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards, the legendary songstress received 11 nods, including Artist of the Year, Video of the Year, Song of the Year (for her ‘Bring Your Love’ collaboration with Sabrina Carpenter,) as well as Video of the Year for her 14-minute project Confessions II – The Film.
