Teasing her fans since 2023, Madonna has confirmed that Confessions On A Dance Floor: Part II will be released on July 3, 2026.
After clearing her Instagram just days ago, the superstar singer/songwriter returned to the social media platform with one post to her 20,300,000 million followers that simply read “Confessions On A Dance Floor: Part II – July 3 2026”
By teasing a 60-second video for the opening track, ‘I Feel So Free,’ the Michigan-born musician also gave fans a hint about her new album’s sound that features a nod to her 1985 tune ‘Into the Groove,’ with the line: “Out here on the dance floor, I feel so free.”
On her Instagram Story, the artist (born Madonna Louise Ciccone,) shared the synthesized instrumental, on top of which she sings “Thanks for coming. Sometimes, I like to just hide in the shadows, create a new persona, a different identity.” “I can be whoever I want to be, create a new persona. Honestly I wish I could be like other people and just not care, but out here on the dance floor I feel so free.”

Confessions On A Dance Floor: Part II marks Madonna’s 15th studio album, and her first since 2019’s Madame X.
“Happy” to have reunited with the company, with whom spent the first 25 years of her career, followed by a 20-year departure, the mega-star’s upcoming release comes after she re-signed to Warner Records in September of 2025.
About her rekindled label alliance, Madonna said “From being a struggling artist in New York City to signing a record deal to release just three singles, it seemed at the time my world would never be the same again and in fact that couldn’t have been truer.” “Since the beginning Warner Records has been a real partner with me. I am happy to be reunited and look forward to the future, making music, doing the unexpected while perhaps provoking a few needed conversations.”
Taking to Instagram, the 67-year old added “Almost two decades later – And it Feels like home with Warner Records!” “Back to music, Back to the Dance Floor, Back to where it all began! COADF- P. 2 [discoball emoji] 2026 (sic)”.
