Despite their divorce battle and current sale of their multi-million dollar home, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have briefly reconnected.
The estranged celebrity couple were seen having brunch along with their children at the Polo Lounge at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles and it was reported that the infamous pair were holding hands, while the children – Ben’s kids Finn, 15, and Samuel, 12, and J-Lo’s twins Emme and Max, 16, – dined at a separate table.
After their meal, the celebrities were photographed having an intense conversation in a car parked outside the building, while Affleck’s ex Jennifer Garner was seen leaving the property with her kids after brunch.
On what would have been the second anniversary of their Georgia wedding, Lopez officially filed for divorce from Affleck, listing irreconcilable differences as the reason for their split and citing April 26 as their official date of separation.
After taking the actor’s last name when they first married, in August Jennifer formally asked a judge to change her legal name from Jennifer Lynn Affleck to Jennifer Lynn Lopez.
According to reports, the über-wealthy couple did not sign a prenuptial agreement prior to getting married, which could potentially lead to a battle over assets, including their $68 million Beverly Hills mansion that they’ve since put up for sale.
