LL Cool J Confirms First Tour In 30 Years

In advance of his first tour in three decades, LL Cool J has confirmed the star-studded line-up.

Marking the genre’s 50-year anniversary, the hip-hop legend (born James Todd Smith) will be joined by The Roots, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Queen Latifah, Common, De La Soul, Ice-T, and many more for ‘The F.O.R.C.E. Live’ arena run.

To announce the Frequencies Of Real Creative Energy, the now 55-year-old rapper/actor shared a video of himself entering an arena as he silences the voices in his head who fill his mind with doubt that he has what it takes could perform in front of the masses again.

As his sub conscience says “You haven’t been on an arena tour in 30 years, you really think you ready? You think somebody’s really going to pay to see you?” the room was filled with applause and cheers as they asked: “You sure you ready for this” as LL replies “I’m ready!”

A tour that promises special “mash-ups” from the special guests, the trek kicks off in Boston on June 25 and will wrap in Los Angeles on September 3.

Taking to social media, Ladies Love Cool James captioned his Instagram clip:
