On Thursday (1.04,) during the red carpet walk at the Palm Springs International Film Awards, Lenny Kravitz shared his thoughts on his daughter Zoe’s engagement to Channing Tatum.
When interviewed by Entertainment Tonight, the superstar rocker stated “When your family is happy, when your child is happy, that’s it – I’ve done well. (I’m) blessed.” And in an prior December interview with E! News, Kravitz confirmed that he and Tatum had become “very close” adding “I love him. He’s a great guy.” “He’s a great guy. We’re very close, and we have a great line of communication.”
Zoe and Channing started dating in 2021 and their engagement was revealed in October of 2023.
Not the first marriage for either actor, Zoe was previously married to Karl Glusman, and Channing was previously married to Jenna Dewan, with whom he shares his daughter, Everly.
Now 59, Lenny attended the Palm Springs International Film Awards in order to present Colman Domingo with the Spotlight Award for his work in the film Rustin, for which the singer/songwriter wrote and recorded ‘Road to Freedom.’ The track has earned Kravitz a Best Original Song nomination at this year’s Golden Globes.
