On Monday (5.20) Lenny Kravitz announced his upcoming Blue Electric Light Las Vegas residency.
The superstar pop/rocker’s Sin City stint will run from October 18 thru October 26 at the Dolby Live at Park MGM.
In tandem with the multi-Grammy award winner’s forthcoming 12th studio LP, Blue Electric Light will be released on Friday (5.24,) some six years after his 11th studio full length, Raise Vibration (2018.)
In a statement about his new collection, Kravitz said that the new album is about “celebration, life, humanity, sexuality, sensuality, spirituality”. And during his March appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the now 59-year-old musician/fashion icon said that the title track came to him in a dream while he was recording music in the Bahamas.
“Well it was actually the last song I recorded in the Bahamas as I was ending the album” “I dreamt it the night before, (and then) I went to the studio, cut it and then Craig Ross, my guitarist, said ‘You know that’s the title of the album.’ And I already had a title.” “And I said, ‘Yeah, you’re right, that’s kind of the right title'” said the artist born Leonard Albert Kravitz.
Effective June 23 in Hamburg, Germany, Lenny Kravitz will launch his European arena and festival tour.
