Scheduled to launch this spring, LCD Soundsystem just released the dates for their mini “Kinda” North American tour.
Kicking off in March in Guadalajara, Mexico, the iconic electronic band’s first North American gig (notwithstanding their headlining festival slot at the Kilby Block Party in Salt Lake City,) will be on May 14 at the Hayden Homes Amphitheater in Bend, Oregon, followed by four nights in Seattle’s Paramount Theatre in May, one night at the Armory in Minneapolis, and wrapping with four shows in Chicago at the Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom.
Making fun of the fact that the James Murphy-fronted group usually only plays in New York City, with some California dates thrown in for good measure, tickets for the “Kinda Tour” go on sale at 10 a.m. local time, and fans can register for tickets on the band’s website.
Excluding their North American dates, LCD Soundsystem will also be playing several venues across Europe, including the All Points East Festival in London and Down the Rabbit Hole in the Netherlands.
