After headlining the Palomino stage on Friday (4.25,) Lana Del Rey stayed at Stagecoach for Jelly Roll’s headlining set on Saturday and joined the Country musician for a rendition of “Save Me.”
Welcoming her to the stage to fill in for the song’s original featured guest, Lainey Wilson, Jelly Roll told the audience “This is my favorite crooner of all time. Lana Del Rey is with me, y’all.”
Among Jelly Roll’s other guest vocalists, Jelly Roll’s star-studded headlining slot featured the likes of MGK, BigXthaPlug, Alex Warren, Wiz Khalifa, Jessie Murph, Brandon Lake, and Shaboozey (for their new duet “Amen”)
Not the first time the Country music superstar and Del Rey have shared the stage, in 2024 at Alabama’s Hangout Festival, it was Lana who brought out the 40-year old musician (born Jason Bradley DeFord) to close out her headlining set, with the two singers performing Lynyrd Skynyrd’s “Sweet Home Alabama.”
Del Rey’s Friday’s Stagecoach set featured the debut of three new songs: “Quiet in the Storm,” “Husband of Mine,” and “57.5,” and she ended the night with a sing-along rendition of John Denver’s 1971 classic “Take Me Home, Country Roads,” accompanied by a pedal steel and her full band.
