In the video for Lainey Wilson‘s new single, “Hang Tight Honey,” a travelogue clip follows the country star and her band through a performance and on the road.
The second offering from Whirlwind, Wilson’s forthcoming full length, “Hang Tight Honey,” is an upbeat single of semi-autobiographical, country soul that assures her lover that she’ll be home from the road soon … with a pocket full of money.
Using “Hang Tight …” to kick off her shows, at present Wilson is on the road, when she and her band opened for the Rolling Stones at Soldier Field in Chicago, and the country music sensation later joined Mick Jagger onstage to sing “Dead Flowers.”
Featuring a collaboration with Miranda Lambert, along with the previously released “Country’s Cool Again” single, Whirlwind is slated for an August 23 release.
