Along with a photo of the superstar singer/songwriter holding a newborn in a baby carrier while walking with Michael and a friend in Northern California, on Friday (9.11,) editors at Page Six confirmed that Lady Gaga and her fiancé, Michael Polansky, have welcomed their first child.
Since she completed The Art of Personal Chaos concert series, in support of her eighth studio album, Mayhem, in April, the musician/thespian (born Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta) has kept a relatively low profile.
After dating for some four years, Gaga and her venture capitalist partner got engaged in April of 2024, and in her January 2025 interview for ELLE UK, the multi-Grammy award winner revealed that she and her significant other were thinking about having children, stating:
“That’s something Michael and I have talked about a lot – allowing our kids to be their own people.” “It’s such an intense thing for kids coming into the world. And they’re told how to think and what to believe in and how to eat… I just kind of want to let my kids find out who they are.”
Adding that her life in the not-too-distant future would involve “me and Michael and our kids.” the 40-year old said:
“It’s funny; sometimes I worry people will say I’m boring these days, but honestly, thank God I’m boring. Thank God!” “Because I was living on the edge. I don’t know what was going to happen to me living that way. So, the fact that I have these answers, on the one hand, I’m like, ‘Oh man, snooze fest!’ But actually, I’m so grateful. Because I found a sense of happiness and joy that is true to me.”
Representatives for Gaga and Michael have yet to comment on the joyous news, nor have details about the infant’s sex, date of birth been disclosed.
