Lady Gaga To Present An Academy Award After Being Snubbed

Despite being snubbed by the Academy, Lady Gaga will present an award during the 94th Oscars.

Widely expected to receive an Academy Award nomination for her performance in House of Gucci, the superstar singer/songwriter/actress (born Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta) was surprisingly left off the lead actress shortlist.

On Thursday (3.03), the it was announced that Gaga will be joined by fellow presenters Kevin Costner, Youn Yuh-jung, Rosie Perez, Chris Rock, and Zoë Kravitz

In a statement about this years ceremony, Oscars producer Will Packer said “Movies inspire us, entertain us and unite us across the globe,” . “That’s the precise goal of the show this year, and we’re thrilled to welcome the first of a stellar lineup joining the Oscars stage to help us celebrate the power of film and honor the year’s best in filmmaking.”  

The Oscars ceremony will be hosted by Wanda Sykes, Amy Schumer, and Regina Hall at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on 27 March.
