Kylie Jenner Drops Debut Single: Look + Listen

With the release of ‘Fourth Strike,’ Kylie Jenner has made her music debut.

By unveiling the collaboration with Los Angeles duo Terror Jr on Monday night (10.13,) the make-up mogul continues to embrace the revival of her King Kylie era on her official YouTube page. Earlier in the day, the 28-year old teased fans by sharing the cover art for the song on her Instagram account.

In the third verse of the mid-tempo R&B track, Jenner’ breathy vocals can be heard singing “One strike, two strike, let me get the mood right,” “I just wanna tell you I’m sorry,” “Touch me, baby, tell me I’m your baby / Write your name all over my body / Cross the line, I might do it again / Do it on purpose just to see how it ends,” and she’s also heard whispering ‘King Kylie’ near the end of the song.

While some Kylie fans have demonstrated their support for ‘Fourth Strike,’ others appear less convinced, with X user @stargirlhoursx2, tweeting “How embarrassing King AutoTune,” with another social media user referring to the song’s title as they posted: “I think you’re out after 3.”

Not her first collaboration with Terror Jr’s Lisa Vitale and David ‘Campa’ Benjamin Singer-Vine, in 2016 rumors circulated that Jenner was secretly the lead vocalist for the group, following the release of ‘Three Strikes.’

Following the upcoming re-release of several signature Kylie Cosmetic products from her 2014 era, the King Kylie alter-ego has made a comeback in recent weeks.
