Britney Spears‘ ex-husband Sam Asghari has weighed in about Kevin Federline‘s forthcoming memoir, You Thought You Knew,
In an interview with TMZ, the Iranian-born model appears to allude to the child support payments the ‘ex’ received from the pop star, when took issue with the father of six – who shares two sons with Spears – saying “Well, he was a professional father, so it would be the first book that’ll tell you how to be a professional father.”
Married from 2004 to 2007, Federline has had majority custody of their two sons Sean (19,) and Jayden (18,) since October 2007, and after 17 years, the superstar’s final $20,000 child support payment was made in November of 2024.
After Federline, Spears and Asghari married in 2022, yet the couple separated just over a year later in August 2023, followed by a finalized divorce in May of 2024.
After he announced his plans to release his tell-all book this autumn, Britney’s fans used social media to slam Federline for the ‘cash grab’ move.
In a formal press release, the book will reveal “extremely intimate and transparent” details about their “highly publicized marriage”.
