Following an issue with her dressing room, Kelly Rowland reportedly refused to co-host Today on Thursday (2.15.)
Having appeared on the talk show earlier in the morning to promote her new film Mea Culpa – a steamy thriller from Tyler Perry about a defense attorney who gets in too deep with one of her clients – Rowland was scheduled to guest-host later that afternoon on Today With Hoda as a fill-in for Jenna Bush Hager.
A source told People that the former Destiny’s Child singer allegedly left after problems with her dressing room, stating “Kelly walked out because she and her team didn’t like her dressing room,” adding that “Rita Ora agreed to fill in at the last minute.
Page Six reported that Kelly had allegedly inquired about different rooms, including a green room on an upper floor, however, Jennifer Lopez was already using the space as she prepared to go on to promote her new musical project, This Is Me… Now.
After being offered, but refusing, other spaces, Kelly Rowland decided to leave the building.
