Katy Perry Drops ‘Woman’s World’ Video: Look + Listen

Preempting her latest studio album143, Katy Perry has released the video for her first single, “Woman’s World.”

Featuring the superstar singer/songwriter with a bottle of “Whisky for Women,” brandishing a hot pink vibrator, and pretending to pee in a man’s urinal, Perry also gets crushed by a giant anvil and uses a gas nozzle in her rear end to refuel. Additionally, Trisha Paytas makes a cameo by pulling a monster truck with a rope before driving it with Perry sitting shotgun.

After she teased the video earlier this week and sings “It’s a woman’s world and you’re lucky to be living in it,” the the lead single for 143 (coming 9.20) sets the tone for Katy’s first full length in four years.

In a statement about her new LP, the wife of actor actor Orlando Bloom said “I set out to create a bold, exuberant, celebratory dance-pop album with the symbolic 143 numerical expression of love as a throughline message,”

In last month’s interview with, Rolling Stone Perry confirmed working with her former Teenage Dream collaborators Dr. Luke, Max Martin, and Stargate for the new collection, as well as a few others she hasn’t worked as closely with in the past.

According to a Capitol records source “Katy knew exactly the album she wanted to make and put together the team to make it happen.” “And that includes previous collaborators including Luke, Stargate, Max Martin, and Sarah Hudson, and some new heavy hitters such as Vaughn Oliver, Rocco Valdes, and Theron Thomas.”
