In preparation for the release of her debut full length, Kate Hudson has signed with the Virgin Music Group.
What will be the actresses’ first foray into the music space, her debut single ‘Talk About Love’ was co-written with singer-songwriter Linda Perry and her partner Danny Fujikaw and will be released today (1.30,)
In a statement about the project, the now 44-year old actress, said:
“I’ve been caught up writing and witnessing life in songs since I was a child.” “But it always comes down to the moment, and the ability to make sure you can be there for the music. Finally, for me, that time is now. I’m so happy to be a part of the Virgin Music family.” “This has been a true labor of love and to have the full support of a team that nurtures an artist’s vision has been a refreshing and inspiring experience.”
According to Variety, the superstar thespian co-wrote all of the songs for her first-ever album, though no formal title or release date has yet been disclosed.
In April of last year, the daughter of fellow actress Goldie Hawn took to Instagram with “Finally realized it’s time to say f#%! it and saaaannngg!!!!!,” along with a photo of herself standing next to a microphone.
