In his just released video for “24,” Kanye West flies among the clouds alongside images of his late mother, Donda, after whom his 10th studio album is named.
What appears to be a continuation of the Jeezy-themed showcased during his second album listening party at Atlanta’s Mercedes Benz Stadium, the Nick Knight-directed video features the rapper levitating out of the arena as he and the Sunday Service Choir sing “Everything gonna be right,” “God’s not finished,” and “We gonna be OK.”
As West moves around the sun-kissed clouds adjacent to video footage of his smiling mother, the new video follows his previously released visual for “Come to Life,” that featured footage from his album listening party at Soldier Field in Chicago.
Released in August, Donda secured the biggest first-week debut of the year on Rolling Stone‘s 200 Albums chart and all 27 Donda tracks reached the RS Top 100 when it arrived, with the musician’s new songs accounting for half of the Top 10 during it’s debut week.
