Kanye West Begs For Forgiveness

After inciting outrage with antisemitic comments, Kanye West is now begging for forgiveness

In recent months, the now 47-year-old superstar rapper has ignited rage by sharing Nazi imagery online, and has risen to new levels of offense when he released a song titled ‘Heil Hitler.’

On Thursday (5.22,) the Grammy award-winning musician took to social media where he issued a string of posts on X vowing to refrain from antisemitic comments and asked for forgiveness.

“I am done with antisemitism.” “I love all people,” and then adding, “God forgive me for the pain I’ve caused.” “I forgive those who have caused me pain.” “Thank you God,” penned West.

Revealing he had contact with the children he shares with ex-wife Kim Kardashian, the embattled musician offered insight into his new mindset by writing:

“I simply got a FaceTime from my kids and I wanna save the world again…” “The earth itself is in Gods Kingdom,” before sharing further messages asking for peace and love.

Not the first time he’s walked back prior inflammatory comments, West previously issued an apology to the Jewish community following a social media post in 2022 that declared he was going to go “death con 3 on Jewish people”.

Despite the aforementioned apology, the artist later provoked outrage when he attempted to sell a T-shirt design featuring a swastika via his website and declared himself “a Nazi”.

In addition to his Hitler-praising song being banned from all major music streaming services upon release earlier this month, Ye reportedly lost endorsement deals with Balenciaga, Universal Music Group, Gap following his outbursts.
