Hitting the stage in bare feet during her third stint as musical guest on Saturday Night Live, Kacey Musgraves performed Deeper Well, from her forthcoming album.
Available in March 15, the country music superstar’s forthcoming 14-track LP was recorded at New York’s storied Electric Lady Studios and it’s “a collection songs I hold very dear to my heart,” according to Musgraves’ February Instagram post.
For her second number, the multiple Grammy winner later returned to the stage with her classical guitar, to perform “Too Good to be True,” which borrows from “Breathe” by co-writer Anna Nalick.
Prior to this past weekend, Kasey was last on SNL‘s 2021 season premiere, shortly after the release of her album Star-Crossed, and her debut on America’s longest running sketch comedy TV show was in May 2018 when she performed a pair of songs from her Golden Hour LP.
The Texas native’s tour for Deeper Well kicks off in Europe in April, with U.S. appearances beginning in September.
