Justin Bieber Returns To The Stage

Prior to his grand homecoming at Scotiabank Arena in June of last year, Justin Bieber indefinitely postponed the Justice world tour in order to focus on his health.

Until last night (2.02) when he delivered a career-spanning redemption performance in Toronto for the NHL All-Star Player Draft, the superstar singer/songwriter had only been seen on stage twice.

Taking to her Instagram account, Bieber’s wife, Hailey Biebe wrote “Here’s your JB eras performance,” sharing a video of the singer running through his 2010 single “Eenie Meenie.” Justin’s setlist also included “Baby” and Justice tracks “Peaches,” “Ghost,” “Hold On,” and a quick rendition of SZA’s hit “Snooze” (as he had a cameo in the music video for the 2023 song and later recorded an acoustic duet version with the R&B singer.)

Sharing a statement to his fans In March of last year, Bieber announced a break from touring, writing:

“I’m going to be ok, but I need time to rest and get better.” “Earlier this year, I went public about my battle with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, where my face was partly paralyzed.” “As the result of this illness, I was not able to complete the North America leg of the Justice Tour.” Though he subsequently performed six shows in Europe and a set at Rock in Rio, he ultimately decided that the strain was too much on his body. “After getting off stage, the exhaustion overtook me,” he said. “I realized that I need to make my health the priority right now.”
