After having an MRI and an annual checkup, Jessie J shared a health update with fans.
Revealing she’s now cancer-free, the British singer/ songwriter took to Instagram video with “I’m actually s**ting myself, I’m not gonna lie,” with the caption “Results are in, and I am cancer-free! I sobbed for hours and then exhaled for the first time in a year.”
It was in June of 2025 that The Voice UK coach revealed that she had been diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer in March, shortly before the release of her single ‘No Secrets.’
Having undergone a mastectomy, in her video the 38-year old chanteuse told her followers “I was diagnosed with early breast cancer. Cancer sucks in any form, but I’m holding on to the word ‘early’.” “It’s a very dramatic way to get a boob job.” “I am going to disappear for a bit after Summertime Ball to have my surgery, and I will come back with massive t**s and more music.”
Born Jessica Ellen Cornish, the UK talent first rose to fame as a songwriter, penning hits such as ‘Party in the USA’ for Miley Cyrus, and subsequently launched a successful solo career with her debut studio album Who You Are in 2011.
Jessie J is the first British female artist to have six top-10 hits from the same full length album.
