An important message from the trailer for Jennifer Lopez‘s upcoming documentary film The Greatest Love Story Never Told, is that the iconic singer/actress hopes to tell her own truth.
States J-Lo “It takes courage to share your truth and I know it could end disastrously.” “Nobody figures out anything when everything’s all hunky dory and rosy. You figure shit out when shit is hard.” adding “I’ve been married four times now; I used to be terrified to be alone; I didn’t know what I was going to do by myself.”
Concurrent with Friday’s release of her ninth studio LP, ‘This is Me … Now,’ The Greatest Story Never Told follows This is Me… Now: A Love Story, dropped on Friday (2.16.). Available on February 27 on Amazon Prime, Jennifer’s intimate doc revisits the making of both her new album and the film while giving a behind-the-curtain view as the multi-hyphenate looks back on 20+ years of her life in the public eye.
Addressing the tensions involved with juggling her professional projects and her personal life, Lopez states “What I portrayed to the world was ‘Oh, this didn’t work out, and it’s fine, and I’m good, and they’re good, and all that’s kind of bullshit.”
Included in the just released trailer are Ben Affleck, Fat Joe, and Keke Palmer, each of whom are also featured in This is Me… Now: A Love Story, along with Trevor Noah, Kim Petras, Post Malone, and several others.
Leaving no stone unturned, Mrs Affleck has pulled out all the stops for her latest full length. the documentary, and the film, as on Thursday she announced that she’ll hit the road for a North American tour starting this summer.
