During her Sunday night (6.22) Paris performance, Beyoncé surprised fans by bringing out Jay-Z.
It was while performing her 2003 mega-hit ‘Crazy In Love,’ that the superstar songstress stepped aside to allow her husband and fellow musician, born Shawn Carter, to rap his entire verse. And, referring to the hip-hop mogul’s nickname, at the close of their collaboration, she said “Give it one more time for HOV.”
Not since 2018 at the Global Citizen Festival: Mandela 100 in Johannesburg, South Africa had the celebrity couple performed the track together.
While Bey dazzled the audience with a version of her 2013 hit ‘Drunk in Love’ remixed with Partition, elsewhere during her final French show, Jay performed a rendition of his and Kanye West’s 2011 song, ‘N***** in Paris.’
Not the first time Beyoncé featured a celebrity cameo during her current trek, on Thursday night (6.22,) , she introduced Miley Cyrus for a rendition of their 2024 duet, ‘II Most Wanted.’
Other VIP guests attending the weekend show included Cardi B, Beyoncé’s mother Tina Knowles, and her former Destiny’s Child bandmate, Kelly Rowland.
