On Saturday (11.11,) actor Jason Sudeikis reunited with his Ted Lasso co-star Hannah Waddingham for a memorable rendition of the Lady Gaga / Bradley Cooper duet, “Shallow.”
Over the weekend, during the annual Thundergong! charity show in Kansas City, Missouri, fellow Saturday Night Live alumni Wille Forte announced Sudeikis’ surprise performance. “There is nobody I would rather sing this song with,” Jason said prior to Hannah singing the song’s second verse.
A foundation that helps uninsured and underinsured amputees get the prosthetic limbs they need, Thundergong! raised over $800,000 for Steps of Faith charity benefit show.
Lady Gaga wrote “Shallow” with Mark Ronson, Andrew Wyatt and Anthony Rossomando, and co-produced the track with Benjamin Rice. She performed the song with Bradley Cooper for 2018’s A Star Is Born, and the pair later showcased the duet live at the Oscars in 2019, where the ballad was awarded Best Original Song.
