Jason Derulo has been caught on video getting into an altercation with two gentlemen in Las Vegas.
Leaving the JEWEL nightclub inside the ARIA Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas during the early hours of Tuesday morning (1.04), the superstar singer “committed a battery against two individuals”, said a spokesperson for the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, adding that officers were called to the scene around 2.22 a.m.
Video footage obtained by TMZ shows the 32-year-old musician stepping off an escalator after leaving the nightclub when a man can be heard yelling off-camera: “Hey, Usher! F**k you, bitch!” In response, Derulo is seen running over to the man and engaging in a scuffle and knocking over queue-line ropes in the process.
Footage taken by another eyewitness confirms security running over to the altercation, trying to break it up as another man yells, “What the f**k, don’t touch my boy!” subsequent to which Derulo punches the second man, knocking him to the floor. The scene then becomes move complicated with other people getting involved.
Following the incident, Derulo was escorted from the property by security, and a police spokesperson told E! News that the singer was not arrested or cited in the incident as the two men opted not to press charges.
At press time Jason Derulo has yet to publicly comment on the altercation.
