After three decades as a married couple, James Brolin addressed his relationship with Barbra Streisand.
Explaining that he and his superstar singer spouse enjoy spending a significant amount of time in bed, the actor opened up about the “best investment” they’ve made in 30 years.
During his Tuesday (4.15) interview of the Today show, the now 84-year old actor said:
“The best investment we’ve ever made is our mattress.” “And don’t misunderstand me.” And clarifying that he and Mrs Brolin simply enjoy spending time on their comfortable mattress, he added “We’re both lazy. We love to sleep late. We do a lot of our work on the phone, on paper, reading, right next to each other.”
James went on to say he and his now 82-year old songstress wife also know when to take a short walk to cool down during a disagreement.
“You learn to take a walk. Both of us, not just me! I just think you gotta say, ‘Okay, take a deep breath, take a walk’.” “Because animals do the same thing, you know? Humans do it to each other, animals do it to each other,” he explained.
After being set up on a blind date in 1996, James Brolin and Barbra Streisand married in 1998.
