During the premiere of Saturday Night Live season 49, Taylor Swift made a surprise visit to Studio 8H in support of Ice Spice.
Introducing the night’s musical guest (born Isis Naija Gaston,) the mega pop superstar played MC during the 10.14 show prior to the singer’s rumored boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, introduced Ice Spice’s second performance.
Following Swift’s brief but impactful cameo, the star’s rumored beau Kelce appeared in an NFL Fox Sunday sketch poking fun at how much the league has been focusing the the superstar couple’s supposed romance.
During her musical guest debut during the Pete Davidson-hosted episode, Ice performed “In Ha Mood,” from her 2023 EP Like..? and the just-released “Pretty Girl,” featuring Nigerian Afro-rave singer Rema.
Earlier in the week, the Bronx-bred rapper took home the best breakthrough hip-hop artist trophy at the 2023 BET Hip-Hop Awards, and next month, she’ll open on select dates for Doja Cat‘s Scarlet Tour.
