Hilary Duff Releases ‘Mature’: Look + Listen

Years in the making, Hilary Duff has made her long-awaited musical comeback with the release of ‘Mature.’

Teaming up with Grammy award winning songwriter/producer and Britney Spears and P!nk collaborator, Matthew Koma, Duff’s first new music in a decade was co-written with Madison Love.

Described as “autofiction inspired by romantic misadventures in her formative years,” the now 38-year old songstress said “‘Mature’ is a little conversation that my present self is having with my younger self.” “The two of us are reflecting on a past experience and sending love to each other. It’s a chuckle, a wink, and a sense of being grateful that we are sure-footed in where we landed.”

Marking the star’s first new music since her 2015 Breathe In. Breathe Out full length, Hilary is slated to star in an intimate docuseries about her return to music including the highs and lows involved in the comeback journey. The episodic series will chronicle the pop star’s “long-awaited musical return and personal journey, offering an unfiltered vignette into Hilary’s world. Embracing the ups, downs, and everything in between, fans will ride shotgun as she balances raising a family, recording new music, live show rehearsals, and preparing to perform on stage for the first time in over a decade.”

Having shot to fame in the 2000s with Disney Channel’s Lizzie McGuire comedy series, Duff signed to Atlantic Records ahead of her highly anticipated return to music.

Directed and executive-produced by the Grammy-nominated Sam Wrench, who previously helmed Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour, and A Nonsense Christmas with Sabrina Carpenter, the docuseries will feature stylized interviews, performances, and videos from Hilary’s personal archive.
