In celebration and extension of Styles’ record-breaking Together, Together world tour, on Saturday (9.19,) Harry Styles caught London fans off guard by funding free caffeinated drinks for all visitors at independent coffee retailer Kaffeine.
Organized via concert promoter Live Nation, the weekend giveaway spanned Kaffeine’s two central London locations on Eastcastle Street and Great Titchfield Street. The brand’s Peter Dore-Smith revealed that the concert promoter selected the business because it was one of the musician’s favourite coffee spots.
Ensuring every customer received a complimentary cup o’ joe throughout the day, Styles paid for both locations’ average Saturday earnings upfront, adding an extra financial buffer to cover additional demand. Though the event was not promoted in advance via social media, staff placed posters in the shop windows on the morning of the event and applied official Together, Together tour stickers to every cup served.
Playing Styles’ discography in the shops while baristas wore ties to mirror the artist’s signature wardrobe, Dore-Smith’s team put on extra staff for the rush, and when unsuspecting customers arrived to pay for their orders, they were that their drinks were completely on the house courtesy of the superstar singer/songwriter.
Including pop-up partnerships with independent florists and ice cream parlors, the promoter-backed initiative follows similar surprise promotional giveaways that Styles has previously funded.
With Styles adding three extra Together, Together headline dates at London’s Wembley Stadium on August 25, 27, and 28 of 2027, the pop up coffee shop treat comes on the heels of major touring news announced last week.
