Harry Styles Adjusts Staging Issues

Harry Styles‘s touring team have confirmed that adjustments to the stage layout will come into effect from Friday’s concert.

The As It Was singer kicked off his Together, Together tour at the Johan Cruyff Arena in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, on Saturday, and many fans took to social media to complain about their restricted view in the VIP floor area.

Pictures and videos posted online showed that some fans had their sightline obscured by the three 10-feet-tall walkways circling the stadium’s floor, with the outer walkways also containing two curved bridges.

An official tour representative subsequently told Variety and TMZ that they are “carefully” reviewing the areas with restricted sightlines and would make adjustments “where possible”.

In an update on the Harry Styles HQ Instagram account, his team confirmed they are making changes to the stage layout, and these would come into effect from Friday.

“We want every person in the room to have the best experience possible, and we are actively working on making adjustments to improve visibility, while keeping everyone’s safety a priority,” they wrote on Wednesday.

“Beginning Friday, the front bridges will be altered in Amsterdam and London. For future venues, we are working as quickly as possible to make adjustments that also fit within safety code and local compliance.”

They explained that, as a temporary measure, the barricades on the left and right front general admission pits had been adjusted for Wednesday’s Amsterdam show “to improve stage visibility”.

They concluded the message by thanking fans for their patience and understanding.

Harry’s 10-night residency in Amsterdam continues on Friday and concludes on 5 June.

The Together, Together tour, in support of his album Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally, features 67 shows across seven cities, including 12 nights at London’s Wembley Stadium and 30 nights at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
