According to reports, on Tuesday morning (4.16,) GloRilla was arrested for driving under the influence. Born Gloria Hallelujah Woods, the superstar rapper was subsequently taken to jail in Georgia and released on bond several hours later.
In a suburb outside of Atlanta, the musician was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, consuming/possessing an open alcoholic beverage container and a separate traffic charge in Suwanee, Georgia,
According to the filed police report, the on duty officer stated that he smelled marijuana and alcohol from the car during a traffic stop, and that GloRilla admitted to drinking that evening, although she said she was fine to drive.
According to TMZ, the police report stated that officers also had to inform the rapper that her breast was exposed at some point during the exchange.
On Wednesday (4.17,) the day following the incident, GloRilla was active on social media promoting her new song ‘Wanna Be’ featuring Megan Thee Stallion,) the second single from her debut commercial mix tape, Ehhthang Ehhthang, due out April 5, and she will be the opening opening act on Megan’s Hot Girl Summer Tour, which kicks off next month.
