Having gone missing from Lake Elsinor in California in 2024 when she was just 13, California authorities have identified Celeste Rivas as the body of the teenage girl found in the trunk of a Tesla registered to singer D4vd.
Sitting in a Hollywood Hills impound lot since January, the youngster’s mutilated body was found last week in the car registered to the 20-year-old singer (born David Anthony Burke.) Suspicions were first reported to authorities when the car started to emit a foul stench. The petite teenager was found wearing a tube top with black leggings and a yellow bracelet with similar metal stud earrings, and wrapped in plastic, her body and was badly decomposed.
According to TMZ, the girl had a tattoo on her right index finger that read “Shhh…”, similar to the one D4vd and other celebs such as Rihanna and Lindsay Lohan have.
The deceased’s mother told TMZ that her daughter once had a boyfriend named David and alleged photos of the two together have been circulating social media.
A spokesperson for the singer told NBC that D4VD has been “cooperating with authorities.” and no arrests have been made in connection with the discovery.
In light of the recent discovery, days after they announced him as the face of their Dream Drop collaboration, D4vd was removed from an ad campaign by Crocs and Hollister, yet tickets for the musician’s Withered 2025 World Tour remain on sale.
