Garth Brooks Thanks Lady Gaga’s Makeup Team For Pre-Inauguration Help

One of several performers during Joe Biden’s Presidential inauguration on Tuesday, country music mega-star Garth Brooks turned to two unlikely professionals for some cosmetic assistance.

Prior to performing “Amazing Grace” live in front of the socially distanced attendees and some 40 million television and online viewers, the “Friends in Low Places” artist received some much-needed primping from Lady Gaga‘s makeup team. Expressing his sincere appreciation, Brooks subsequently reached out to the superstar via social media: “Please tell Frederick and Miss Sarah thank you for me! They saved a cowboy today. Oh, and tell Miss Sarah to hug her momma for me! love, g,” referring to Gaga’s longtime makeup artist, Sarah Tanno, and hairstylist, Frederic Aspiras.

For his emotional performance of “Amazing Grace” the Country Music Hall of Famer stuck to his Oklahoma roots by donning a black cowboy hat, black blazer, black shirt, dark denim jeans, and cowboy boots.
