Over-emotional about the opportunity, Billie Eilish “can’t stop crying” about her impromptu weekend appearance with Justin Bieber at Coachella.
Growing up a Bieber super fan, Billie was called up on stage by the teen idol during his Saturday night (4.18.) headline set.
Prompted by Justin’s wife, Hailey Bieber, the 24-year old superstar singer/songwriter left the VIP section and ran onto the stage to be serenaded during his ‘One Less Lonely Girl’ segment where she sat on a stool and was hugged by her 32-year old idol.
Taking to social media on Sunday (4.19,) Billie revealed her emotions during the moment along with a selfie showing herself with red, wet eyes, and the caption “Can’t stop crying.”
Thanked Justin and Hailey for making her daughter’s dream come true, Billie’s mother, Maggie Baird, also posted a series of photos and videos of the moment, adding:
“One of the most touching moments ever. It sounds crazy, but we watch our children develop these deep deep connections to artists who move them and usually there’s nothing in our power to do. But we buy them records and maybe buy them a ticket to a concert (or a movie of a concert in our case because we couldn’t afford to see an actual concert).” “Watching this crazy unimaginable dream come true over many years is so incredible. I’m so grateful to Justin Bieber for the kindness he has shown Billie and to our whole family and to Hailey who makes so many things wonderful and possible.”
In the comments, Hailey wrote, “So special” and “(love) you guys!”
